Thanks to all who came along on the Feed Geelong ‘Seeing is Believing Tour’ in October.
Great to have so many attend the Feed Geelong ‘Seeing is Believing’ Tour, gaining a glimpse into the operations of three wonderful organisations that work within our region’s emergency food relief system:
Geelong Food Relief Centre – who provides adequate, fresh, nutritious and relevant food to families who are experiencing disadvantage through two mini-marts.
Lazarus Community Centre – operating for just over one year, Lazarus Community Centre provides a safe and welcoming place as well as meals for those experiencing homelessness.
Christ Church Community Meals Program – This program provides free breakfast every morning and evening meals twice a week for those experiencing food insecurity and are going hungry.
